One of the most interesting features included in Hangouts is that you can use the service from any device, picking up a conversation right where you left off. You can connect with up to ten people at a time, just press a button and voilà: instant video chat. The OS X Recovery Disk Assistant lets you create OS X Recovery on an external drive that has all of the same capabilities as the built-in OS X Recovery: reinstall Lion or Mountain Lion, repair the disk using Disk. Just like in Google Talk, you can change your text-based conversation for a videoconference at any moment. Note: In order to create an external OS X Recovery using the OS X Recovery Assistant, the Mac must have an existing Recovery HD. There is an app version for Android and iOS and you can also use the desktop version on Windows and Mac. Google Hangouts has been upgraded to Google Chat.
